Production at European level

The plant is equipped with the latest, high-tech lines from leading Italian manufacturers such as SACMI, Imola, Gruppo TecnoFerrari and System Ceramics – a standard typical of leading companies in the sector.

The production process includes digital printing, calibration, diamond cutting and high-temperature firing, which allows the creation of products with high precision and consistent quality.

The planned capacity exceeds 6.5 million sq m per year – a scale that places the company among the significant producers in the region.

“Green factory” with a focus on energy

Energy efficiency is built into the design. The machines are of the latest generation with optimized natural gas consumption, and the waste heat from the ovens is reused in the dryers.

A solar park has been built at the production facility, and the upcoming implementation of batteries with a capacity of up to 45 MWh aims to maximize the use of renewable energy. The result is a significantly reduced carbon footprint per unit of production – a key factor for working with international partners and investors.

Value-added product

The company’s focus is on high-end glazed porcelain tiles, with the main format being 600×1200 mm, 100% rectified. IZIDA Ceramica is among the few manufacturers in the region that are betting on this leading market trend – perfectly calibrated slabs in a modern, universal format. This precision allows for laying with minimal, almost imperceptible joints and achieving visually continuous surfaces.
The result is an architectural effect that meets the most current interior trends – clean lines, a sense of spaciousness, controlled light and a natural presence of matter.

IZIDA Ceramica applies two of the most up-to-date technological approaches for surface structuring in modern ceramics.

The first is the Carving effect, in which the relief is achieved by precise carving into the surface, fully synchronized with the graphic design. The second approach is to build a structural surface with convex details that follow the lines of the graph. This technology adds extra dimension and tactility, achieving an even more realistic sense of materiality and authenticity.

The combination of the two methods creates surfaces where visual and tactile perception coincide – an effect that brings the industrial product closer to the logic of the natural formation of materials and becomes a key criterion for contemporary architecture.

The company works with design studios from Italy and Spain, which guarantees products that are in line with current trends in architecture and interior design.

People and expertise – the foundation of success

Behind the success of IZIDA Ceramica stands a serious multinational team of proven experts.
in the ceramic industry with over 20 years of professional experience built in seven countries. Investments in qualification, exchange of know-how and multinational management experience guarantee the company’s competitiveness in the long term.

Clear investment framework

After the restoration of production in 2024, the project went through a phase of accelerated development, deploying its production capacity of 6.5 million sq m per year in 2025.
The next key step is planned for 2027 – the implementation of Continua+ technology, which will allow the production of large-format plates up to 1200×2800 mm.

Exports as a growth engine

Over 50% of production is already sold outside Bulgaria, with a presence in markets such as Greece, Romania, Serbia and North Macedonia.
This positions IZIDA Ceramica not just as a local manufacturer, but as part of the new industrial wave in the region – companies that combine technology, scale and sustainability to compete in the European market.
